The location contains beautiful Greenery on the hills, Sand islands, Waterfalls, streams, Sand banks, and Giant rocks on the edges of hills. Godavari passing through these mountains is a must watch, and is best viewed while travelling in boat.

The beautiful scenery of Papihills, the waterfalls at Munivaatam, and the peaceful atmosphere at this tribal area give a pleasant look and peace to visitors, making it a special attraction for tourists. The idol of Shiva under serpent shade was installed in Munivaatam. The Shivalayam in Perantalappli is maintained by Tribals and is known to be their heritage. Kunavaram itself is a place to watch as one can see the merger of River Sabari and River Godavari.
