Willington Island Tourism

It is a man-made island located off the coast of Cochin. it was created from the materials dredged while deepening the Kochi Port. It's named after Lord Willingdon, the erstwhile governor of Madras. It used to serve as a military base for the Royal Air Force. The Cochin shipyard is also located close to this island. This island has a number of offices, national and international banks, travel agencies and of course many shopping areas too.
