Day 1: Chennai
On arrival, you will be welcomed and received by our representative at the international airport and transferred to a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chennai/ Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram) (65 km / 1 ½ Hrs)
Start the second day of your Exotic South Tour offered by Kerala Backwater with a hearty breakfast. After that, go for a sight seeing tour of Chennai covering the major attractions of Chennai including Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and the museums. Later on drive to the ancient city of Mammalapuram, now regarded as a world heritage site. Check in at a hotel for overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
Day 3: Mahabalipuram /Kanchipuram /Mahabalipuram
After an early breakfast leave for a sightseeing tour covering Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance and Five Rathas. Later, drive to Kanchipuram and explore this temple city. Drive back to Mahabalipuram in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 4: Mahabalipuram / Tanjore/ Departure
Drive to Tanjore early in the morning and visit the Brihadeshwara temple. Later in the afternoon, our representative will drop you to the nearest airport to catch flight back home.
