Tata NaNo Car Booking Centers and Cost

Are you looking for ways to book a Tata Nano car? Booking of Tata Nano started on 09.04.2009 and it will be open upto 25.04.2009.The cost of application form is Rs.300/- and the Application form has 3 copies (Applicant’s copy, the bank’s copy and Tata Motors Limited – TML copy)

Tata Nano Application forms can be obtained from the following centers:

After filling up the application forms, you can submit it at any one of the following centers:

Find below the checklist of the documents to be submitted:

* 1. Application form
* 2. DD/ Cheque (local) /Payorder drawn in favour of “Tata Motors Ltd – A/C Tata Nano”.for the booking amount (depends on the variant choosed); Nano BS 2/3 – Rs.95,000/-; Nano CX Bs 2/3 – Rs.1,20,000/-; Nano LX BS 3 – Rs. 1,40,000/-
* 3. A cancelled cheque of the customer account if he needs a electronic refund
* 4. Photocopy of photo id card
* 5. Form 60/61 in the absence of pan card

The customer has to retain the customers copy, duly stamped, for all future references.
Tata Nano Online Booking:

Note that the Application forms for Tata Nano can be submitted through online as well. Cost of application is Rs.200. Payments can be made through net banking (debit cards). However credit cards are not accepted and any problem on the payment gateway site will be dealt by the service provider and not Tata. After making the payment online, you are advised to take a printout of the receipt.
Find below the steps for booking a Tata Nano Car online:
o The cost of the Online Form is Rs. 200/-.
o Fill out the application form online and proceed to make an online payment.
o Your application will then be directed to a third party payment gateway site
o You will then submit your payment through net banking.
o The amount to be paid is the Cost of Application Form plus the Booking Amount.
o The site will confirm your payment by generating a transaction ID.
o You will be then guided back to the Tata Nano website where a Unique Identification Number (UIN) will be generated.
o Booking is now complete, you can take a print of receipt, an email is sent to you with the receipt

Tata Nano Allotment Process:

* Tata Motors will select 1,00,000/- allotees from applicants within 60 days of closing of booking. For these allotees the price will be same as announced during launch on 23.03.2009
* Successful allotees will receive an allotment letter indicating the expected period of delivery
* Refund of booking amount without interest for the unsuccessful applicants will be processed within 90 days from the closing of booking. If refund is delayed beyond 90 days 6% interest per annum will be paid. Refund will be processed based on refund account details given in the application.
* Unsuccessful applicants have an option of retaining the booking amount with Tata motors Ltd. All retainees will get the car in the 2nd allotment. Interest at the rate of 8.5% per annum for more than one year and 8.75% for more than two years will be paid for retainees from the date of allotment. The price of the car on the date of delivery will be applicable for the retainees.
